Overview

Wines That Rock is a new company with a unique perspective on winemaking - crafting custom wines for legendary rock and roll music and blending one-of-a-kind wines with Rock ‘n Roll mythology. The challenge was to design a commercial site that had a rock and roll/anti-establishment look. Vin 65 did the back-end programming and made the development part of the project a "piece of cake".

Norcom2000 is a Internet Service Provider located in Belleville, Illinois . Nk2 also has a growing hosting business and specializes in network security and LAN/WAN integration. Norcom is also a DirecTV, Wild Blue and DISHTV Authorized dealer. I was tasked with designing a site and branding identity for a growing business that was starting to compete with much larger companies.

Overview

Scott Credit Union is one of the fastest growing Credit Unions in the midwest. When I designed and built the current site in 2005, the previous site design had not been updated since 1993. SCU wanted a site that would facilitate an aggressive digital strategy that would appeal to their diverse members and community. Scott Credit Union has embraced the web not only from a marketing perspective but also in regards to community involvement. To that end, i have also designed sites for Scott Credit Union to egage children (The Big Barkers Kidz Club) and teens (WiredUP!). I am currently designing the newest interation of www.scu.org, which will launch in July, 2010.

Overview

While Vice President of Creative at Fanball Fantasy Sports, I led my staff in the design and interface build of SnapDraft - the fastest growing fantasy sports game in history. Fanball is equal partners in this game with NBC, which made for one of the most challenging kinds of design tasks - creating a high revenue producing website for partners with often very different opinions on game function and marketing strategy. My creative staff, which I built and led for over ten years, was up to the challenge - we built one of the best fantasy game interfaces on the internet. My primary designer on the site was Ryan LeDoux, the interface slide function is jQuery.

SnapDraft

Overview

fRiverbend Textiles tasked me with designing a web site that would mark their first digital marketing effort . Riverbend Textiles sells hundreds of different cleaning solvents and wiping textiles to companies all over the world. To grow their business it was imperitive to expand their customers accessibilty to their products beyond printed catalogs and the telephone. I designed the site and inegrated a Monster Commerce estore.
Note: The client did not opt for a content management system and some of the current dislay issues are a result.

Schmitt Chevrolet in Wood River is one of the oldest Chevrolet dealerships in west central Illinois. When I hired in 2005 to redesign their website, Schmitt Chevrolet website had not been updated in ten years. In addition to redesigning the interface I added iintranet tools to administer the online credit and employment applications. I redesigned the site in late 2008 and update the site monthly with marketing specials and monitor the site SEO and analytics.

The Lumber Company was a sports apparel company with a outstandin g marketing and product vision, but was undercapitalized, which led to the company closing its doors. The owners wanted a web site that matched their vision, and this "outside the enelope" site was the result. Only a few of the screens are active and reside on my site, but are worth the visit.

Jack Schmitt Cadillac is the second Jack Scmitt dealership website I have designed. When I was contracted in 2006 to redesign their website, the Schmitt Cadillac website had not been updated in seven years. As with my design of Jack Schmitt Chevrolet in Wood River, I redesigned the interface and added intranet tools to administer the online credit and employment applications. I update the site monthly with marketing specials and monitor the site SEO and analytics. I will be redesigning the site in the summer of 2010.

WiredUP! is a teen oriented website I designed for Scott Credit Union. Facebook integration and cross-marketing through social media wil be the important for Scott Credit Union in developing markets in this demographic. This website will be the focal point for that marketing effort.

This project involved designing and building the marketing interface for for a gas giveaway contest for Speedway Super America. The contest entailed customers receiving game pieces from the stations and matching them to randomly generated numbers displayed on the website every morning. The game was an incredible success, and the design interface had to be extremely efficient to handle the traffic. The site is inactive but the html resides here

The Fun Spot Skating Center in Belleville, Illinois caters to primarily a 16 years old and yonuger clientele and wanted a web site that was accessible and user friendly to that age group, but also include party and safety information for parents. The site features flash navigation, picture gallery and xml flash audio player.
